Our 2 day avalanche awareness courses are run in partnership with Dream Guides on four weekends in December & January. Arm yourself early in the season with the knowledge you need to ski or board off piste - safely! Our courses are designed to be fun and teaching is done 'on the go' so you'll get lots of off piste action in too, but the subject matter is serious. Geared to be an introduction to, or refresher of, the fundamentals of avalanche safety, we focus on practical knowledge and spend 2 days skiing off piste whilst learning to recognize hazards - and learning how to avoid them. What to expect: These courses are led by one of Dream Guides' IFMGA Guides. After an evening theory session, you'll have 2 full days on the mountain skiing off piste and learning about all aspects of avalanche awareness. You can expect to be skiing all day from first lifts.
