It hit 23 degrees over the weekend in Chamonix and Adventure Base is ready for summer!

Talk of warm rock, smooth tarmac, dry trails start to replace the powder frenzy and the pace slows. We have one month left of spring skiing and then its summer.

What is on offer at Adventure Base this summer?

•    The four Top Gun chalets, both catered and self catered, perfect for access to Chamonix summer activities.
•     The option of bolting any extras such as airport transfers, guides, cleaners, drivers etc…
•    Info and access to great biking routes, running trails, fresh water swimming and much more!
•    Our luxury chalet Maverick in Les Bossons is the ideal spot for getting away from it all.
•    Adventure Base will also be running Specialist Mountain Biking, Triathlon Training and Hill walking courses for those wanting to submerge themselves in their passions.
Chamonix summers are starting to trump the winters! There is just so much going on. Here are some dates to put in the Diary.
•    The season is kicking off early with the Time Megeve road biking race on the 12th of June.
•    For the party goers summer in Chamonix does not disappoint! The famous fete de la music on 21st of June will keep you dancing till dawn.
•    Chamonix Marathon on the 26th of June – for those with that strange affection to pain!
•    Bastille Day – Biere Festival and World Climbing Championships – a weekend not to be missed in Chamonix 14th of July.
•    This year the roadies minds are on one race only… the Etape du Tour. Finishing in Alp D’ Huez on the 18th of July this is going to be one packed event.
•    26th of July and the Adventure Base team will be heading over to Alps D’Huez for the famous triathlon.
•    26th of August - ULTRA TRAIL weekend. This is most likely Chamonix’s busiest and most emotional weekend in the year! Hoards of trail runners gather to complete the 166km route around the Mont Blanc. A great atmosphere and definitely not to be missed.
